Adama Traore has set certain conditions to signing new Wolves contract amidst interest from Tottenham
According to The Sun (h/t Express), Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Adama Traore has set out certain conditions to sign a new contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Midlands club are trying to tie down Adama Traore to a new contract this year after his great start to the season. Wolves are ready to offer the winger a four-year deal worth £25million if the Spaniard is ready to commit to his future to the club.
This would be a huge pay rise for the 25-year-old as his wages would rise from £55,000-per-week to nearly £120,000-per-week. However, Traore is not ready to sign the contract just yet.
The winger has specified certain conditions to sign a new deal. The Spaniard wants to play European football regularly while he also wants the Molineux outfit to include a £60m buy-out clause in his contract, according to The Sun (h/t The Express).
This would be a huge boost for Tottenham, who have been eyeing a deal for the 25-year-old. Spurs, who currently possess the likes of Bryan Gil, Heung-Min Son, Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn in the wide areas. But Traore would add something different to the attacking unit for Spurs.
Moreover, over the last half a decade, Tottenham have been actively competing in European competitions, something they can pitch to Traore as it satisfies one of his conditions of playing for a club.

Additionally, if a release clause is included in the 25-year-old’s new deal, Spurs could straightaway pay the number stated in the contract and sign the winger. Given Traore’s abilities and Premier League experience, he would be a mighty fine addition to Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad.
