Tottenham can use Tanguy Ndombele in swap deal for Franck Kessie

According to Calciomercato (h/t Express), Tottenham could end up offering Tanguy Ndombele in a swap deal for Franck Kessie. The AC Milan midfielder could become hot property come January as he is in the final year of his deal and clubs such as Juventus and PSG are also after him. All three clubs could offer players in exchange to help the deal go through.

Tottenham had a really solid summer transfer window as they managed to plug most of the gaps in the squad with their new signings. The same gusto filled approach could be continued in January as well with further signings being eyed. One of the potential names Spurs have on their radar is Franck Kessie.

The Ivorian is one of the best players for Milan and was a huge part of their success last season. However, his contract situation is not helping the club. So, far no new deal has been agreed as an offer of €125,000-per-week is not likely to be enough to convince him to stay. That has alerted Spurs and two other clubs.

Juventus and PSG have registered interest and the latter could offer players like Leandro Paredes and Mauro Icardi to facilitate a deal. Spurs too could end up using Tanguy Ndombele in a swap deal to get an edge. The Frenchman has struggled at the club and has wanted to leave as well.

While it would be harsh to let go of Ndombele, the addition of Kessie can ease some of those issues. A powerhouse of a midfielder, Kessie can be a good addition to the engine room for Nuno Espirito Santo. However, with so many teams after him, it will not be easy to prise him away.
