Tottenham duo Sergio Reguilon and Joe Rodon called up to international duty
The Tottenham duo of Sergio Reguilon and Joe Rodon have been called up by their national sides. Spain have brought in Reguilon as a replacement for the injured Jose Gaya while it is unclear if Rodon is there with Wales for the same reason.
This first international break of the season is proving to be quite the dramatic one for Spurs in particular. They allowed Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso to go play in red list countries and are now in huge problems after the fiasco from Sunday. Add to that, Ryan Sessegnon returning injured and Spurs could be without a few names against Crystal Palace.

It would seem two more players will be leaving for international duties with one more game to go. Spain have called up Sergio Reguilon to their squad as Jose Gaya got injured. That would have left Jordi Alba as the only other option at left-back. It is very likely that Reguilon has been called up as a backup to Alba for the final game.
Youngster Joe Rodon is yet to play since the last season as fitness issues have kept him out of the side. However, Wales have confirmed that he is back fit after rehabilitation and a part of the final game against Estonia. He, too, could just be there as a backup. Although, getting some minutes might not be entirely bad.

Tottenham will be hoping nothing more happens with these two in the remaining game of the international break. They will need everyone back in shape as they try to continue from where they left off. Next up is Crystal Palace on 11th September.
