Tottenham failed to agree Ryan Sessegnon loan with Fenerbahce
According to Fanatik (h/t Football.london), Tottenham failed to agree on a loan deal with Fenerbahce for Ryan Sessegnon. Apparently, the versatile left-back was keen to go out on loan and Fenerbahce manager Vitor Pereira met with Nuno Espirito Santo. However, a deal could not be agreed on.
It has only been two seasons that Ryan Sessegnon has been at the club but it feels like he is running out of time to prove himself. It can be attributed to the fact that he was quite the talent at Fulham and the same has not carried over to Spurs. A rather forgetful first season meant that he was allowed to leave on loan.
His spell at Hoffenheim was a productive one as he managed to get back some form. However, on his return, he once again finds himself fighting for a spot in the side, both on the wing and full-back slots. However, his continued absence from the Premier League matchdays was a bit concerning.
It has now been revealed that Turkish giants Fenerbahce tried to get Sessegnon on loan. The player was also keen to head out and Vitor Perreira spoke to Nuno Santo as well. However, Spurs and Fernbahce failed to come to an agreement over a move and the deal collapsed.

It can prove to be a frustrating campaign for Sessegnon without regular game time. Perhaps the cup competitions are where he might actually get the chance to prove himself. In hindsight, Spurs might have been better served by letting the player move out on loan and get more first-team experience.
