Spurs have made it through the play-offs against Portuguese side Pacos de Ferreira. That means a participation prize of €2.94m is in the bag. As the group stage commences from Thursday, Spurs can earn €500,000 for every win and €166,000 for every draw. Qualifying to the knockouts will be worth €600,000 more (h/t Football.london).
Progression to the quarters will get them €1m, semis €2m and finals €3m. Winning the competition will earn them an extra €2m. The prize pot is €15m which is significantly less than the €89m in the Champions League. Spurs will also get a share of the €23.5m broadcasting revenue. That is about 6.7% of UEFA’s commercial revenue of €3.5bn (h/t Football.london).
