Transfer News: Tottenham Hotspur interested in Belgium attacker Charles De Ketelaere
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato (h/t Football.London), Tottenham Hotspur are being linked to 20-year-old Charles De Ketelaere.
The young attacker is also being linked to AC Milan in the coming window. The 20-year-old is already making a name for himself and is capped at the international level for Belgium.
De Ketelaere has played 90 time for Club Brugge KV across all competitions during which time he has scored 12 goals and provided 14 assists for the Belgian club. The youngster has managed to get his hands on two Belgian League titles and a Belgian Super Cup with Club Brugge so far.
He shows signs of promise and could be a great long-term addition to the club. To add to that, De Ketelaere brings a certain versatility and can play in the front three as well as in an attacking role just behind the forward lineup.
Antonio Conte has brought with him an air of joy and excitement at the North London club. The Italian manager has worked wonders in the previous clubs that he has managed and would be hoping to do the same with Spurs.
The former Inter Milan manager has an easy-on-the-eye style of play which demands a lot of the players and the team as a whole. With the back three being his preferred formation, the 52-year-old manager could certainly do with another versatile attacking option within his ranks to balance out the team.
Fabio Paratici has already shown his adeptness at bringing young talent such as Cristian Romero, Bryan Gil, and Emerson Royal to the North Londoners club recently. While the South-American duo of Romero and Royal has started to make inroads in the team, Gil still has some work to do in that department.

The 20-year-old Belgian could be another great addition and would help bolster the squad. The youngster might initially find it tough to break through in the first-team at N-17, it could also be a big step in his future as a budding footballer. While there is no confirmation of any transfer yet the Lilywhites could certainly do with a young exciting prospect in the form of de Ketelaere.
