Tottenham Hotspur will look to secure a January loan move for Juventus forward Dejan Kulusevski
According to Calciomercato (h/t Express), Tottenham Hotspur could look to sign a loan deal for Dejan Kulusevski. They are doing this to beat fellow Premier League rivals to his transfer as they are not willing to match the £29.4million price tag set by Juventus.
The Lilywhites have been heavily reliant on Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min in their attacking department for the last few years. While the former has been prolific for England, he has failed to find that same form for the club this season.
The North-Londoners are believed to be looking into the prospect of a loan deal for 21-year-old, Kulusevski. The youngster has played 62 matches for the Bianconeri across all competitions till now during which he has scored eight goals and provided eight assists.
The former Atalanta forward has failed to score in the last 11 Serie A matches. Despite these issues, he remains one of the most promising young talents in the Italian league. The youngster could be an exciting addition and a loan move could help the Lilywhites assess how the Swedish national player fits into the long-term plans of the team.
The Italian club may not want to let go of their young attacker so easily. That being said, the right amount of money could be a tempting offer for Juventus who are going through a bit of a financial crisis.
A loan deal may not be the most deal thing for the Turin-based outfit but Fabio Paratici and his strong links in the Serie A may just help Spurs to get over the line in this race. Antonio Conte could also do with the exciting addition to the club.
