Some fans react on Twitter as Tottenham Hotspur defeat Norwich 3-0 at home
It was a wonderful night at the N17, as Tottenham Hotspur defeated Norwich by a 3-0 scoreline.
The defeat against NS Mura has certainly done something to our boys. Antonio Conte is not somebody who settles for anything less than success. The game against Burnley was called off, but it was followed up by a convincing victory against Brentford.
However, our side was even better today. Conte demands excellence, and he got it from the 1st minute. The midfielders and wingers were pushing up high, and eventually, Japhet Tanganga won a ball high up the pitch. He passed it to Lucas Moura, and the Brazilian quickly shifted passes with Son Heung-min and got himself dead centre outside the box.
Three points in successive games
Moura slammed the ball into the roof of the net and gave us the lead just 10 minutes into the match. Norwich retaliated with a lot of pressure and took hold of the ball. Unfortunately, Sergio Reguilon picked up an injury after just 20 minutes and had to be brought off. But Oliver Skipp was not going to let anybody past him in the first half.
The Englishman was everywhere on the pitch and this would have made Conte proud. The second half started in an end-to-end fashion as Dean Smith’s men looked for an equalizer. Spurs were playing on the counter-attack but were wasteful in the final third. The men in white won a corner 20 minutes into the second half, and it was Son again that was the creator.
The South Korean whipped in a dangerous ball and Ben Davies nicked it on to Davinson Sanchez. The Colombian put his foot through the ball, and we finally had a cushion. However, Tottenham were not done scoring.
10 minutes later, Davies was the creator again as he found his way into the box before passing it to Son, who scored emphatically to complete one of our best performances of the season. The defence kept a clean sheet, with Matt Doherty also getting a run-out.
Let us now see how some fans reacted on Twitter to our biggest league victory of the season.
COME ONNNNNN, THATS MORE LIKE IT.

Great result. Skipp was amazing. Played as a team way better in the second half and clean sheet. #COYS

Conte’s magic is starting to work. Skipp is playing like a world class midfielder and Ben Davies is like a new man. Well played lads. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻#COYS #TOTNOR

Flattering scoreline but its a win. Back to Front the play is ordinary and laboured, concede far too much to the opposition. Sessegnon a positive for today, looked good going forward, Skipp worked hard. Son and Kane too often in the wrong areas of the pitch & the interplay poor.

I told you all naysayers: Conte is a born winner. Finally a worthy #EPL title contender. His winning energy already rubbing off on his players. Rejoice Spurs… If only there was Lukaku on this team… 😎 #TOTNOR *3-0* pic.twitter.com/xWYD2J9Ybw
