Liverpool make “very interesting” January transfer bid for AC Milan star Franck Kessie amidst Tottenham Hotspur interest
According to Italian outlet Ansa (h/t The Sun), Liverpool have offered a “very interesting” bid for AC Milan star Franck Kessie in the January transfer window amidst interest from Tottenham Hotspur. He is likely to move elsewhere, which has garnered interest from several clubs regarding his services.
Kessie will see his contract with Milan expire at the end of the 2021-22 season. He could reach a pre-contract agreement with other clubs next month and move as a free agent at the end of this campaign.
However, both Tottenham and the Reds are in the market for midfield reinforcements, and they could look to get their hands on Kesie in January. Jurgen Klopp’s side want to take over the pole position and have handed a “very interesting” offer to make their case.
Kessie to Liverpool or Spurs?
The interest from Klopp’s team could be a major headache. They are better than us currently and have a better sporting project for now. As a result, playing for them could be a more exciting prospect than moving to N17.
However, we are not some pushovers and are currently rebuilding under the tenure of Antonio Conte. The Ivory Coast international could become a crucial component of our midfield cog and could assist us in attaining our long-lasting desire of achieving titles.
Fabio Paratici could have a challenging job at hand and would need to be at his best to back our manager in securing his targets. We need some reinforcements, and the Serie A midfielder perfectly fits the bill. He has gained valuable experience in the top flight, has immense quality while having years left in his playing career.

The 52-year-old manager may have hinted that Tanguy Ndombele’s time is up at N17, which opens up a spot in the Spurs midfield. He expressed how certain players “find it difficult” to understand when talking about Ndombele’s future.
The Ivorian would instantly boost our squad with his quality and would lift our chances of finishing in the top four places. He has played 205 matches throughout his time at San Siro and has netted 35 times alongside 16 assists. The winter transfer window is just about to open, and we should take the initiative in getting our desired target.
