According to the Ecuadorian publication Bolavip (h/t Football.London), Tottenham Hotspur are looking to secure the services of Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Piero Hincapie. He is touted as one of the best upcoming prospects to rise to the top following impressive spells in the Bundesliga.
Tottenham are interested in signing Hincapie as they look to add more quality to their backline. His performances for Leverkusen at such a young age have certainly attracted their attention, prompting them to make a move to land him.
Antonio Conte is claimed to be a keen admirer, having been left impressed by the 20-year-old’s displays. However, it is stated that the youngster will likely prove to be expensive as he is considered as one of the emerging talents in the German top flight.
Who is Piero Hincapie?
The Ecuadorian is a centre-back but can also deputize as a left-back when required. He has thrived in both positions this term and he has done well at such a young age. Having earned a regular spot at club and country, it is no wonder he is touted to reach further heights in the future.
