Fabrizio Romano: Tottenham Hotspur to complete Dejan Kulusevski permanent transfer soon
According to the transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, Tottenham Hotspur are in line to complete the permanent transfer of Dejan Kulusevski in a short period of time. The winger has taken the Premier League by storm, and he has been an instant hit at N17 because of his outstanding performances.
Kulusevski had initially joined Tottenham on a temporary deal until 2023, which would cost them around €10million in loan fees. They have the option to make the transfer permanent at the end of this season, which seems to be a real possibility based on the latest update.
Romano has revealed that Spurs sources consider the Swede’s signing to be made permanent in a “matter of time”. The English club will need to pay Juventus a transfer fee worth €35million, but it is stated that the amount would not cause any problems at this stage.

The 21-year-old has immediately become a regular for us since joining the squad very late in the January transfer window. His instant impact would have made someone question if he had joined the team recently or not. After all, his signing has been a perfect match for us as he has instantly created great chemistry with Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min in the attack.
Kulusevski has scored three goals and assisted six times from 13 matches since the winter transfer, which showcases how good he has been for us. It is no wonder why the North Londoners have decided to trigger the buy option at the earliest, looking at how he has performed.
Lucas Moura is no slouch considering how he has been a key player for Antonio Conte before Kulusevski’s signing. That further emphasises the latter’s impact on our squad, which certainly deserves plaudits looking at how he has piped Moura to take over the starting spot.
That has seen us, in turn, firmly put ourselves in contention to qualify for the Champions League next season. Kulusevski’s impact cannot be overlooked, as Conte has used him to push us to newer heights which none of us would have anticipated when the boss has not enjoyed a full term at the helm.
