QPR in talks to sign multiple starlets from Tottenham Hotspur this summer
According to Football Insider (h/t Peterborough Today), QPR are looking to secure the services of multiple rising stars from Tottenham Hotspur his summer. The likes of Troy Parrott, Kion Etete, and Harvey White have been linked with the Championship club.
It is understood that Rangers have a good relationship with Spurs with many of our youngsters having gone there for trials in the past. While we may have a good rapport with them, letting any of our upcoming talents go could prove detrimental for us in the long term.
The Lilwyhites have had a tumultuous time in the last few years. That being said, Antonio Conte has steered the ship to bring some more stability but there is still a lot of work to be done at Hotspur Way. While helping us become more competitive in the present, we should also keep an eye on the future.
Youngsters to leave Hotspur Way?
Parrott is currently on loan at Milton Keynes Dons. After having a pretty rough stint with Millwall and then Ipswich Town in the past, the 20-year-old Irish forward seems to be revitalising his form scoring nine goals and seven assists in 44 matches across all competitions this season.
Etete on the other hand has also been a dependable asset for Cheltenham bagging nine goals and five assists in 36 matches across all competitions for the Robins this campaign. White has also showcased his qualities for the Spurs development team in Premier League 2.
It would thus be fair to say that this trio of youngsters show immense potential and could one day go on to become the torchbearer for the North London club. We have seen one of our own, Oliver Skipp start making inroads into the senior team before an unfortunate injury halted his progress.
This goes to show that if navigated properly, rising stars coming through the ranks can go on to make a big impact in the first team. Harry Kane who is considered one of the most lethal strikers in the world also came through the ranks of the Lilywhites.

While a loan move for any of the aforementioned trio may be suitable, a permanent departure could be a tough pill to swallow for our supporters. This is, even scarier, considering that our big money signings haven’t always worked out for the best in the past few years.
Fabio Paratici has tried his best to lure young talent ever since his arrival at the club. While this may be concerning news for some of our fans, we hope that the club will consider the different factors should they sanction any move for Troy Parrott, Kion Etete, or Harvey White.
