Twitter Reaction: Several fans react as Tottenham Hotspur registers dominating victory against Leicester City

Tottenham Hotspur had a great outing as they managed to secure the three points against Leicester City and they sure did it in style. The Foxes gave Spurs a scare in the second half when the shot by Patson Daka required a fingertip save from Hugo Lloris as the ball rebounded off the post.

The North Londoners then opened the scoring in the 22nd minute as Harry Kane expertly headed the ball past Kasper Schmeichel at the near post. The English captain sure loves playing against Leicester but the best of the strikes came from Son Heung-Min on the day.

The introduction of Dejan Kulusevski instilled that extra spark going forward as he set up the South Korean who got on the scoresheet in the 60th minute. That being said, it didn’t take him long to bag another goal in the evening and boy was it a thing of beauty.

He curled the ball in the top corner from outside the box in the 79th minute as the Danish keeper had absolutely no response. When we thought that the match was over Brendan Rodgers’s men managed to get a consolation goal in stoppage time.

Kelechi Iheanacho found himself in space and drilled a low shot past Lloris as we couldn’t keep the clean sheet intact. It had very little effect in terms of the result on the day. This victory was a good boost, especially after failing to land a single shot on target in the two matches prior to this.

Antonio Conte’s men will take on Liverpool and Arsenal in the next two fixtures. We would be hoping to take this momentum into those games as we fight for a spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League.

Some fans react as Tottenham Hotspur convincingly down Leicester City

We pile the pressure on the Gunners in the race for a fourth-place finish in the Premier League after a win against Leicester. This race could go down to the wire and we would have to put in similar performances week in and week out if we are to come up trumps.
