Transfer News: Tottenham Hotspur’s Harvey White linked with a move to Swansea City
According to transfer news on Football Insider (h/t Wales Online), Swansea City are linked with a move for Tottenham Hotspur starlet Harvey White.
White is contracted to Spurs until the summer of 2024 and a number of other EFL Clubs are also supposedly monitoring his situation. The 20-year-old starlet hasn’t enjoyed a lot of playing time this month.
The young midfielder’s only appearance came in a pre-season friendly against K League XI where he came on as a substitute. He was left on the bench against Sevilla and did not play any part in our win against Rangers either.

He has just two senior appearances at Spurs to his name, both of which came in the 2020/21 season. He is yet to play a single minute of Premier League football although he regularly made Antonio Conte’s bench towards the end of the last season.
What next for White?
He is a mainstay in Spurs’ U23 side. He could need more minutes elsewhere to finally have a crack at regular first-team football and there is hardly a better way to achieve that than loaning him out to a capable club.
Swansea are a team playing at a level where White can really test himself, while they aren’t of a stature where our young midfielder could find it hard to muster some starts. However, it is unclear if the Swans want him on loan or a permanent transfer.
