Brazil international Richarlison returns to Tottenham Hotspur training
According to Football.london, Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a massive boost as summer signing Richarlison has returned to full training.
The Brazilian international has been on the sidelines since the win over Everton last month. There were fears that he would miss the World Cup in Qatar later this month but that does not appear to be the case.
A hint about the 25-year-old’s situation was received yesterday (07 November 2022) when he was named in Tite’s 26-man Brazil squad that will travel to Qatar. He has now returned to training as Spurs prepare to face Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup.
The League Cup was the last piece of Silverware that Tottenham won, all the way back in 2008. 14 years later, they will be keen to repeat that. They kick off their campaign against Nottingham on Wednesday and Richarlison is expected to be in the squad.
While it would be optimistic to expect him to start, Antonio Conte might decide to bring the striker off the bench on the night. It should aid him in securing the necessary match fitness ahead of the coming games for club and country.
Spurs face Leeds United in their last game before the World Cup. Having Richarlison feature in both upcoming games would certainly aid his cause of impressing in Qatar. Given the talent at Tite’s disposal, Richarlison will need to make use of any opportunity he gets to make an impact.
The Brazilian’s return comes on the heels of Dejan Kulusevski’s return against Liverpool. Tottenham have suffered three defeats in their last four Premier League games and will be keen to get back to winning ways.

The return of their key attackers will certainly aid in that aspect. Richarlison might not be prolific in front of the goal but has impressed overall since moving to the N-17. Just how many minutes he will receive before the World Cup hiatus remains to be seen.
