Harry Kane and Dejan Kulusevski among four players Jamie O’Hara feels are good enough for Tottenham Hotspur
Former Tottenham Hotspur ace Jamie O’Hara feels only four players, including Harry Kane and Dejan Kulusevski, are good enough for the club. The ex-Spurs star believes most of the squad are not good enough to wear the white shirt.
Antonio Conte’s team needed two late goals once again to secure three points against Leeds United in the Premier League. The North London side were poor defensively but managed to get a 4-3 win in the end at home.
Speaking on talkSPORT via Twitter (h/t Express), O’Hara named Rodrigo Bentancur and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in his list of stars who have shown that they deserve to feature for Tottenham. The former Spurs midfielder is of the opinion that the four players are the team’s “saving grace”.
“The only saving grace that we’ve got at the minute is that we’ve got Bentancur in our side, Kulusevski and Harry Kane. The rest of them are miles off it.
“Maybe Hojbjerg deserves to be in with a shout of being good enough to warrant playing in this team. The rest of them, nowhere near good enough.”
Kane has been one of the few consistent players for us in the current campaign. The England international has been one of our best players over the years and is once again leading the line for the Lilywhites this season.
At a time when other forwards such as Son Heung-min and Richarlison have not contributed as much as some fans had expected, the 29-year-old has been the side’s talisman. In the current campaign, the striker has featured in 22 games in all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing three assists.
Kulusevksi joined the club in January 2022 and has made an immediate impact in North London. The 22-year-old has effectively complemented our attack. But unfortunately, injuries have troubled him this season.
Bentancur has come clutch for Tottenham this term. He scored against AFC Bournemouth in the dying minutes to give us the win. And against Leeds, the Uruguayan scored the brace at the end to give Spurs the lead.

Hojbjerg has also been a decent addition since joining from Southampton. While other stars like Son and Dier have been vital under Conte, their recent form has not been encouraging for most of the fanbase.
