Marcel Brands believes Brazil and Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison can play for Bayern Munich and PSG

PSV Eindhoven’s director of football Marcel Brands believes Brazil and Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison has the ability to play for Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

The 25-year-old has put in some impressive displays for Tote’s team at the World Cup. He scored two goals for the Canarinho in their 2-0 victory over Serbia in their opening Group G fixture.

Speaking to Dutch broadcaster NOS (h/t Express), Brands, who signed Richarlison for Everton during his time with the Toffees, has hailed the Brazilian. The PSV chief is of the opinion that the 25-year-old has the qualities to get into some of the top sides around Europe.

“He has everything to be a top striker. He has become a man as a young player. He was already physically strong but has become much stronger and his will to score has developed even further.

“He could be playing at Paris Saint-Germain or Bayern Munich as early as tomorrow.”

Spurs signed Richarlison from Premier League rivals Everton in the recent transfer window. The 25-year-old followed a host of additions made to Antonio Conte’s squad in the summer of 2022.

The Brazilian has been industrious for the North London side. While his numbers have not been anything special, the Brazilian’s commitment on the pitch for us cannot be discarded.

In the current campaign, Richarlison has made 15 appearances for Tottenham in all competitions. He has found the back of the net two times and provided three assists.

Most of the 25-year-old’s displays have come off the bench for Spurs. Conte has other options he can count on. In the centre-forward role, Harry Kane is ever-present in the starting lineup.

The England international has been in fine form for the North London side this season. He has been the one carrying the attack under the Italian manager in the current campaign.

This is where Richarlison’s versatility comes into play. The Brazilian has played on the wings on most occasions for Conte so far. With Dejan Kulusevski and Son-Heun min’s injuries, the 25-year-old has been a pivotal member of the squad. It would be wise for Tottenham to keep a hold of him.
