Manchester United eye summer swoop for Tottenham star Harry Kane
According to ESPN, Premier League rivals Manchester United are eyeing a summer swoop for talented Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane.
Kane is a Premier League legend in his own right. He has been Tottenham’s best player for many seasons now. The prolific goal scorer has developed his game over the years to be one of the most all-rounded strikers in the world.
Kane’s future at Tottenham has always been a story that has interested many people. Yet to win a major trophy at North London, there is a feeling that the English superstar is wasting his best years at Spurs.
The 29-year-old superstar came very close to leaving a couple of summers ago when he was pushing for a move to Manchester City but the club refused to sanction a move for the sensational striker.
Since then, Kane has come back strong for Spurs and has continued scoring goals. With Tottenham qualifying for the Champions League this season, there was not much drama during the summer.
However, even under a serial winner like Antonio Conte, Tottenham are really struggling this season after a good start. There is a good chance that the Lilywhites do not qualify for the Champions League next season.
This might be the final straw for Kane though. If Spurs fail to finish in the top four, he might choose to move away in the summer. One thing is sure, the Tottenham star will not be short of suitors.
Man United are the latest club to register interest in Kane. The Red Devils are in the lookout for a long-term solution in the number nine position and the 29-year-old will be the perfect signing for Erik ten Hag.
