Tottenham Hotspur could make move for Inter Milan’s Marcelo Brozovic
There are still a few hours left in the January transfer window and Tottenham Hotspur could pop up with a late offer for Inter Milan’s Marcelo Brozovic.
As per Italian outlet Calciomercatoweb, Spurs could make a 25million Euros offer for the Croatia international. He isn’t considered untouchable at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium anymore.
Moreover, Inter Milan could also swap him for Franck Kessie if such an option arises with Barcelona. Hence, Spurs would have to be quick and make a very late move if they want the Nerazzurri playmaker.
Spurs have linkages to Inter, with Antonio Conte being their manager before moving to N17 and replacing Nuno Espirito Santo. We also signed Ivan Perisic immediately after his spell at Inter, although as a free agent last summer.
Brozovic to Spurs?
Hopefully, we can pull a late deal as we did with Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur last January when we signed the duo from Juventus on deadline day.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Bentancur could use competition, with Yves Bissouma failing to impress so far. Brozovic, 30, is a world-class central midfielder who is famed for his creative playmaking abilities.
He could add more creativity to our midfield, although Hojbjerg and Bentancur have shown in recent times that they are also molding their game in a manner where they are also of use in possession.
It remains to be seen if Spurs will be able to get this particular deal over the line before the deadline day concludes. We have already signed Arnaut Danjuma on a loan until the end of the season while Pedro Porro is a Joker who should bring great winnings to our team.
