Arnaut Danjuma’s arrival on a loan deal until the summer from Villarreal is perhaps proof of that. Moreover, it is said that Lucas wants a three-year contract at his next club – wherever that may be.

The 30-year-old seemingly wants to secure his long-term future at whichever club he joins. He is versatile, creative, and likes to dribble in the final third of the pitch.

Moura to leave Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur could be set to lose Lucas Moura for nothing this summer. The Brazilian forward is in the final five months of his deal at N17.

A contract renewal is yet to take place and according to journalist Bruno Andrade and UOL (h/t Transfer Tavern), Moura is set to leave the club at the end of the campaign. He was signed from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the winter transfer window of 2018.

He has made memorable contributions since then, most notably his hat-trick against Ajax Amsterdam in the UEFA Champions League 2018-19 season. But recently, his influence on the first-team set-up has completely diminished.

Lucas has been reduced to playing just 93 minutes of Premier League football this season. Fitness issues have hampered his progression under manager Antonio Conte, who seems to have completely lost trust in him.
