Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool to battle for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot
According to Gazzetta, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Liverpool are set to battle it out to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer in the summer.
While the Frenchman’s time in Italy has been somewhat mixed since his arrival on a free transfer, there is no denying his quality and the impact he could have on our squad. He has been having a resurgent season with the Old Lady too.
Rabiot is a player who possesses a combination of technical ability, physicality, and tactical intelligence that could make him a valuable asset for any team in the Premier League. His versatility means he can play in a variety of positions in midfield.
Even at the World Cup, the 27-year-old stepped up admirably well in the absence of seasoned campaigners like Paul Pogba and N’Golo Kante and was one of their key players in their run to the final.
Now, we come to the question of why Tottenham actually want Rabiot and what he could bring to the table should he come to N17. or starters, his presence would undoubtedly add some much-needed depth and quality to our midfield.
While we have some talented players in that area of the pitch, injuries and inconsistency have plagued us at times, leaving us looking somewhat thin in that department, especially currently.
Rabiot’s arrival would also provide us with a player who can help dictate the tempo of our play and provide some much-needed creativity in the final third. With his ability to pick out a pass and create chances for his teammates, he could be the missing piece in our attacking puzzle.
Of course, Tottenham are not the only team linked with Rabiot. Arsenal have also been mentioned as potential suitors, and there is even talk of Liverpool being interested in the Frenchman’s services.

However, Rabiot would be a better fit for us than Arsenal and this should tempt him to come here. Liverpool need midfielders too so this leaves us in a dicey position. Let’s see if we are able to convince the Juventus man.
