Tottenham learn whether Napoli will sign Tanguy Ndombele permanently
According to CalcioNapoli24, Tottenham have learnt that Napoli will make a move to sign Tanguy Ndombele should they win the Serie A this season.
Whilst the midfielder hasn’t been a regular feature in the starting lineup, he has certainly impressed when given the chance to shine in southern Italy. Tottenham could finally have a solution to take him off their hands.
With Napoli currently leading the Serie A table by a whopping 18 points, it seems highly likely that they will secure the Scudetto this season. The club is already planning for next season and has set their sights on bringing Ndombele to Naples for good.

Whilst Tottenham fans may be disappointed to see a player they invested so heavily in leave for a fraction of the price, it makes sense for the club to move on from Ndombele. The midfielder has struggled to adapt to the pace and physicality of the Premier League since his arrival in 2019.
Furthermore, Ndombele has struggled to establish a good relationship with Tottenham boss, Antonio Conte. With Spurs looking to rebuild under new management, it seems logical for them to cash in on a player who hasn’t quite lived up to expectations.
Napoli, on the other hand, seem like a perfect fit for Ndombele’s style of play. The Italian side plays a possession-based game, similar to the style of football that the Frenchman excelled at during his time at Lyon.
For Tottenham, moving on from Ndombele could free up funds to invest in new talent, something that the club desperately needs to do if they want to compete at the highest level and build a better team for next season.
It’s worth noting that Ndombele isn’t the only player Tottenham are looking to offload this summer. There are other players they need to move on from and let’s see how they go about doing that.
