Journalist confirms Thomas Tuchel wants Harry Kane at Bayern Munich
German journalist Christian Falk has exclusively revealed to Caught Offside that Thomas Tuchel will make an attempt to sign Tottenham Hotspur superstar Harry Kane to Bayern Munich.
In what has been one of the most intriguing things to have happened in football in recent days, Thomas Tuchel is now the Bayern Munich manager. It looks like he has a huge plan in his mind.
Bayern Munich have been flirting with the idea of signing Harry Kane for quite some time now. The Bavarian giants are yet to truly replace Robert Lewandowski who left for Barcelona, and the Tottenham man could be a perfect choice.
With a new manager at the helm, it looks like the German giants are going to go all out and try and convince Kane to come to Germany. Tuchel might be at the forefront of these negotiations as he tries to tempt the Englishman.
Speaking about the situation, Falk believes that Bayern will do everything they can to sign the player now.
“Tuchel will have one shot – that could be an expensive one! This could now be Harry Kane. When a new manager is coming in, of course, there’s the likelihood of players going out in addition to coming in”
“He wants a lot of players, so they have to get money in. Ultimately, the chance to get Kane in is bigger now that Tuchel has joined the club and I think there will be something in the summer now”
The problem with Kane though is the fact that he might not want to leave the Premier League. His immense success in the Premier League is one of the main reasons he’ll want to continue staying here and breaking more records.
However, the Englishman will also know that a move to Germany will surely win him a truckload of trophies. It is something that Kane has been desperate for having not tasted that success in his career.
Tottenham of course, still want to keep Kane at all costs. They will be hoping that the talented striker decides to commit his future to the club. However, a lot of factors need to be going his way for him to stay here.
