Tottenham Hotspur learn the price tag for AS Roma star Tammy Abraham

According to Calciomercato (h/t Football. London), Tottenham Hotspur have learnt the price tag for talented Roma striker Tammy Abraham amidst interest from other Premier League clubs.

The striker has been in the news recently as Roma have reportedly placed a price tag of £35-£40 million on him, ahead of expected interest from Manchester United, Tottenham, and Paris Saint-Germain.

As a potential target for Tottenham, Abraham would undoubtedly add some much-needed firepower to the team. The Spurs have struggled in front of goal in recent times, with Harry Kane often bearing the brunt of the burden alone.

Adding a proven goalscorer like Abraham to the mix would undoubtedly bolster the team’s attacking options and make them more formidable in the final third. Even if Kane leaves, we will have the perfect replacement.

However, the question remains whether Abraham is the right fit for Tottenham. Abraham is undoubtedly an attacking talent, but whether he fits in with the new manager’s plans remains to be seen.

Moreover, with Chelsea reportedly having a buy-back clause of £70 million to re-sign Abraham this summer, it is uncertain whether they will exercise that option. The Blues have struggled for goals this season and could go back to their former academy product.

On the other hand, Tottenham’s need for a striker is well-documented. While Kane remains the team’s talisman, he has been linked with an exit from the club. Thus, the club will be looking at replacements.

Anyone who has seen the striker play will know that Abraham’s attributes are well-suited to Tottenham’s needs. He is a physically imposing player who can hold up the ball well, something that could help the team build attacks from deep. He is also an excellent finisher, with a knack for scoring goals from a variety of positions on the field.
