Charlie Eccleshare has revealed that Ryan Mason is excited about managing Tottenham
Speaking on The View from the Lane podcast, journalist Charlie Eccleshare has revealed that Ryan Mason is excited about managing Tottenham Hotspur on a permanent basis.
Mason has been a popular figure at Tottenham ever since his playing days, and his appointment as caretaker manager has been met with widespread approval from fans and players alike.
He may lack experience as a manager, but he certainly has the respect and admiration of those around him. It is visible on the pitch with Tottenham improving vastly under him in an attacking and defensive sense.
Ryan Mason is the youngest manager in Premier League history at 29 years and 312 days old.

It is no secret that Tottenham have been struggling for consistency this season. The club has had a difficult time both on and off the pitch, with Antonio Conte‘s tenure being marred by disagreements with the board and players.
The appointment of Mason may signal a fresh start for the club, and it will be interesting to see how he approaches the challenge. One thing that is clear is that Ryan Mason has the full support of the squad. It is often said that a happy dressing room is a successful one.
Speaking about the situation, here is what Eccleshare had to say about Mason and the Tottenham job
“Mason clearly is brimming with ideas and he’s fizzing with energy. He’s excited by this and is really relishing being able to put his ideas over to the players, and they, from everything I’m told, they really like him and they’ve been really impressed with him, but ultimately he needs to get results”
Of course, Mason’s appointment is only temporary, and the club will be looking to bring in a permanent manager at the end of the season. There have been plenty of names linked with the job, including Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique, but it remains to be seen who will ultimately take the reins.
Whoever comes in will have a big task on their hands. Tottenham are a big club with high expectations, and they will be looking to challenge for major trophies once again. The next manager will need to be someone who can inspire the players and bring out the best in them.

It is also important that the new manager can keep hold of key players like Harry Kane. The England striker has been linked with a move away from the club and let’s see if there is some coach who can convince him to stay here.
