Tottenham want to sign Salernitana striker Boulaye Dia
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing the acquisition of Salernitana striker Boulaye Dia, as the London club aims to bolster their attacking options for the upcoming season.
The 26-year-old Senegal international has had an impressive campaign with the Italian club, netting 16 goals and providing six assists across all competitions. As Spurs look to add depth to their attacking lineup, Dia could prove to be an excellent addition.
Currently on loan from Spanish club Villarreal, Boulaye Dia‘s performances have caught the attention of Salernitana, who have the option to sign him permanently for around €12 million. They are yet to trigger that.
Boulaye Dia is only the second player in Serie A history to score a hat-trick for Salernitana after Marco Di Vaio (2 in 1999).

However, reports suggest that the Italian outfit is willing to exercise that option and then sell him for a fee of approximately €30 million, aiming to secure a substantial profit from his transfer.
Tottenham, with their financial resources, certainly have the means to meet Salernitana’s demands and acquire the services of the talented striker. However, negotiations and the willingness of all parties involved will ultimately determine if the deal can be successfully completed.
Dia possesses both the physical and technical attributes that could enable him to thrive in the demanding environment of English football. His versatility is also a notable asset, as he is capable of playing as a winger as well.
The Spurs’ attack have heavily relied on the prolific Harry Kane, who has shouldered the burden almost single-handedly this season. As Tottenham look to compete at the highest level, it is evident that Kane requires more support in the final third.
Adding Dia to the squad would not only provide competition for established players such as Richarlison and Son Heung-min but also inject a fresh dynamic into Tottenham’s attacking play.
