Fenerbahce are interested in Tottenham Hotspur winger Ivan Perisic
Tottenham Hotspur star Ivan Perisic is attracting interest from Fenerbahce in the ongoing transfer window, according to Turkish outlet Takvim.
The Istanbul-based club have already made contacts with the Croatian international’s services regarding a switch from the North London side this summer.
As things stand, the Super Lig outfit are looking to add more quality and experience to their ranks. They have already acquired the services of former Manchester City and Inter Milan striker Edin Dzeko recently.
Perisic made a name for himself at Wolfsburg before Inter Milan came knocking for his signature. Subsequently, the 34-year-old thrived at the Nerazzurri and then went out on loan to Bayern Munich for a season, where he won the treble.
Subsequently, the Croatian helped Inter end their 11-year wait for the Scudetto. Under Antonio Conte, the versatile player played as a full-back as the Nerazzurri won the Serie A title in the 2020/21 campaign.
Subsequently, the Italian manager reunited with Perisic at Tottenham last summer as he signed on a free transfer. The winger played mostly on the left of a back-five as we struggled defensively.
Although the 34-year-old had a decent return in terms of creativity. He made 44 appearances in all competitions for the North London side last season, scoring one goal and providing 12 assists.
Unfortunately, the Croatian is not known for his attributes at the back and was often caught out of position in the previous campaign. We also have Ben Davies and Ryan Sessegnon in our ranks, who are naturally more suited to the left-back role.

Perisic is a highly experienced player who still possesses decent quality in the final third. While Son Heung-min is our first choice on the left wing, the Croatian seems like a decent option to have on the bench to add cover up front. But will he move to Turkey? Only time will tell.
