Fulham set for Tottenham Hotspur enquiry regarding Tosin Adarabioyo
Tottenham Hotspur are ‘expected’ to make contact with Fulham to enquire about the conditions to sign Tosin Adarabioyo this summer, according to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna on Twitter.
Spurs are looking to bolster their backline and have the English national on their radar. To that end, the North London side are set to make a concrete move to know what it will take to make a permanent move possible.
Apart from the Lilywhites, a number of other teams also have the 25-year-old on their radar. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether we will be able to acquire the centre-back’s services.

◉ Tottenham will made action over Tosin Adarabioyo. The Spurs are expected to contact Fulham this week to know the conditions and terms of a permanent transfer.

Adarabioyo was born in Manchester and made his way through the youth ranks at Premier League rivals Manchester City. After several years with the Sky Blues, Fulham signed the defender in the summer of 2020.
Since then, the 25-year-old has regularly played for the Cottagers. He was a key player for them as Marco Silva’s team won promotion to the English top flight.
Subsequently, in the previous campaign, the English national found himself in and out of the team. The Craven Cottage side ended up surviving the drop comfortably.
At Tottenham, the defence has been a big issue for some time now. In the 2022/23 term, the North London side struggled to keep clean sheets or hold on to leads.
Cristian Romero has been our only consistent defender in the last few seasons. Unfortunately, he left a lot to be desired at times in the previous campaign. The likes of Eric Dier, Ben Davies, Davinson Sanchez and Barcelona loanee Clement Lenglet were underwhelming as well.

Thus, Spurs should evidently prioritise bolstering the backline this summer. Adarabioyo is a relatively young centre-back with a lot of room for development still. However, will we opt to pursue his signature? Only time will tell.
