Harry Kane wants to seal Tottenham Hotspur exit before 18th July
The future of Tottenham Hotspur’s star striker, Harry Kane, hangs in the balance as he continues to be linked with a move away from the club this summer.
German outlet Sport Bild suggest that the 29-year-old has his sights set on a switch to German giants Bayern Munich, with the hope of completing the transfer before the pre-season kicks off on the 18th of July.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, known for his tough negotiation tactics, has remained resolute in his stance regarding Kane’s departure. In fact, he swiftly turned down Bayern Munich’s initial offer of £60 million, indicating that he values the talismanic forward much higher.
However, it is widely anticipated that the Bavarian outfit will come back with an improved bid, leaving Spurs fans anxiously waiting to see how their beloved striker reacts. It looks like he wants to leave.
This is not the first time Levy has thwarted potential suitors eyeing Harry Kane‘s services. Manchester City had previously shown a keen interest in acquiring the Englishman’s signature but ran into a stubborn Levy a couple of seasons ago.
Despite his immense talent and undeniable contributions to Tottenham’s cause, it is a bitter truth that Kane has yet to taste the sweetness of silverware at the club level. Such a gifted striker, who has consistently defied defences with his lethal finishing and remarkable vision, undoubtedly deserves to play for a competitive team.
Kane has the potential to become an absolute game-changer for Bayern Munich. His addition to their attacking ranks would undoubtedly inject a new dimension into their already formidable offensive arsenal.
Bayern have not been able to find a replacement ever since Robert Lewandowski left the club last summer. There are not many options in the market better than Kane to replace the Polish marksman.
