Tottenham among the clubs keeping a close eye on prolific Serie A attacker whose future is in the balance

Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs interested in Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic

According to Italian outlet Sport Mediaset, Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on the exciting prospect of acquiring Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus during the summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old Serbian international has been the subject of much interest, with Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea also keen to secure his services. Spurs may even submit a significant offer to bring the talented striker to North London.

Vlahovic, despite having a somewhat average season with Juventus, still managed to find the back of the net 14 times across various competitions. While he may not currently be on par with Tottenham’s own star striker, Harry Kane, there is no denying the potential and room for growth in the young Serbian’s game.

Should a deal for Dusan Vlahovic materialize, working under the guidance of Tottenham’s manager, Ange Postecoglou, could prove to be a turning point in the player’s career. Postecoglou’s coaching methods and tactical approach have a history of nurturing talent and unlocking their full potential.

In terms of Vlahovic’s suitability for English football, the player possesses a combination of technical skill and physicality that could see him thrive in the demanding Premier League. His time at Fiorentina showcased his immense talent and potential, earning him a reputation as one of Europe’s most promising young players.

However, the pursuit of Vlahovic does raise questions about the future of Tottenham’s talismanic striker, Harry Kane. The England international has been linked with a number of clubs recently, including the German champions Bayern Munich, who are keen to secure his services.

In a wider context, the interest in Vlahovic from Tottenham, Manchester United, and Chelsea speaks volumes about the need for attacking reinforcements among these top Premier League clubs.

Vlahovic’s availability has presented an opportunity for these clubs to strengthen their attacking departments and improve their chances of success in the upcoming season. However, it makes sense for Tottenham only if Kane is to leave.
