Real Madrid want Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Spanish giants Real Madrid want to sign Tottenham Hotspur superstar and captain Son Heung-min.

The La Liga giants are allegedly closely monitoring the South Korean sensation and the prospect of a high-profile move next summer is gaining momentum. The Spanish side are having problems in attack.

Why the interest, one may ask? Well, it’s not hard to understand. Son, the versatile South Korean maestro, has carved out a special place for himself at Tottenham Hotspur, predominantly operating from the left-wing position.

His ability to adapt and excel in various roles on the pitch has made him an irresistible proposition of the Real Madrid hierarchy. Let’s not forget that this season he is showing us that he is a quality number nine too.

Son’s flair, creativity, and eye for goal make him a prized asset. It’s not just his goal-scoring prowess, but his work ethic and unyielding commitment that really catch the eye. A club like Real Madrid would love to have him.

Since taking up the captain’s armband, Son Heung-min has elevated his game to a new zenith. The statistics paint a vivid picture – five goals in six games, including a scintillating hat-trick against Burnley and a brace that ripped the heart out of Arsenal.

Heung-min Son’s journey at Tottenham began in 2015, and since then, he has worn the badge with immense pride. His connection with the fans runs deep, and his performances on the pitch have forged an unbreakable bond.

Playing under the astute guidance of Ange Postecoglou, he has rediscovered his best form, and it’s a joy to behold. Yet, as they say, ambition knows no bounds. The allure of playing at Santiago Bernabeu is not easy to turn down.

More Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham will not want to give their captain to Real Madrid. They will be hoping to die him down to a new deal. It is an interesting saga to keep an eye out for though.
