Romano confirms Tottenham are tracking Armand Lauriente
Speaking on the Here We Go podcast, popular Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirms that Tottenham Hotspur are tracking Sassuolo attacker Armand Lauriente.
January may still be several months away, but the transfer rumour mill never sleeps. One name that has recently surfaced as a potential addition to the Spurs squad is Armand Lauriente, that talented Frenchman.
Tottenham’s summer transfer window was marked by the departure of their talismanic striker, Harry Kane, leaving a void that has yet to be fully filled. While the dynamic duo of Heung-min Son and Richarlison has shown promise in leading the line, the club remains vigilant in their search for attacking reinforcements.

Armand Lauriente, a French forward, has been on Tottenham’s radar for some time now. He spent the last year at Sassuolo, where he showcased his skills and netted seven goals in 28 appearances in Serie A during the previous season.
In a recent interview with TuttoMercatoWeb, Lauriente’s agent revealed that Tottenham had expressed interest in the player during the summer transfer window. This revelation has reignited speculation about a potential move for the Frenchman.
According to renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham’s interest in Armand Lauriente is no mere hearsay. Tottenham’s scouts have been actively monitoring Italian league talent, with Lauriente being among the players on their radar.
“Tottenham sent their scouts multiple times to watch Italian players in general. They are very active on the Italian market. They always follow the Italian market, and this is why their scouts are always keeping an eye on some talents. Lauriente did very well last season for Sassuolo, and he is one of the players Tottenham are following and tracking”
While the club may have refrained from making a formal bid for Lauriente, their interest in the player is clear. Tottenham’s scouts have been closely monitoring his performances, evaluating his potential to bolster the squad’s attacking options.
At present, Spurs have found themselves in a respectable position, with Son and Richarlison stepping up to fill the void left by Kane’s departure. However, the Premier League is a gruelling competition that demands depth and quality in every department.
