Gary Neville gives honest opinion on Ange Postecoglou and title chances for Tottenham
Ange Postecoglou and his impressive start as Tottenham Hotspur manager has caught the attention of football pundits and fans alike. With an unbeaten record in the Premier League, including notable victories over Liverpool and Manchester United, Tottenham find themselves leading the table on goal difference ahead of rivals Arsenal as they head into the international break.
Despite his initial doubters and questions about his ability to transition from the Scottish Premiership to the Premier League, Postecoglou has silenced his critics with a remarkable run of six wins and two draws from eight games. His success extends beyond his tenure at Celtic, showcasing his managerial prowess.
However, former Manchester United captain Gary Neville remains sceptical about the squad’s ability to maintain their position at the top of the table over a 38-game season. He believes Ange‘s squad is susceptible to “being found out.”
“I don’t think Tottenham can stay in it over a 38-game season is my honest opinion. I think the squad will get found out in the end.”

Neville believes that the squad’s limitations will eventually come to the fore, leading to a drop in their performance. While Postecoglou has already achieved significant milestones and proven his managerial capabilities, Neville’s reservations highlight the competitive nature of the Premier League.
Do Spurs have a go at the title?
The demands of a full season, injuries, and the rigours of top-level competition will undoubtedly test Tottenham’s depth and resilience.
Postecoglou will face the challenge of maintaining his team’s consistency and adapting to the ever-evolving Premier League landscape as the season progresses. Tottenham fans will be hoping that their manager can continue to defy expectations and guide the club to a successful campaign.
Ultimately, only time will tell whether Spurs can sustain their early-season form and compete for top honours. The likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United are certainly capable of giving Tottenham a run for their money.
