Tottenham Hotspur chasing Stuttgart superstar Serhou Guirassy
Tottenham Hotspur are apparently one of the teams chasing VfB Stuttgart’s in-form striker Serhou Guirassy.
The Guinea international is on fire right now, scoring 14 goals in eight games across competitions this season. 13 of those have come in seven Bundesliga games and he is by far the competition’s top scorer.
Journalist Dean Jones was talking about Spurs’ interest in the 27-year-old striker on Ranks FC Podcast on Apple Podcasts. He also added that West Ham United are keeping an eye on him.
He said:
“It is early days for him being a Stuttgart player but teams are already keeping an eye on this situation. Tottenham are one of the teams already keeping an eye on his development. West Ham also have an eye on him. He is absolutely brilliant…”
Spurs lost Harry Kane to Bayern Munich in the summer. No one can look past that just yet. He was our main man up front and our main source of goals.
James Maddison and Son Heung-min are in superb form right now and doing the bulk of scoring and creating in the final third. But they can use some help up front.
Richarlison isn’t really hitting his strides just yet and we can use some competition in that area. There is one thing that we have to be wary of, though.
Guirassy’s form could just be another purple patch and we have to understand that buying a player when their hype is at the peak can cost us extra bucks. Daniel Levy doesn’t need any lessons on that because he has been in this business for decades.

Guirassy’s deal also runs until June 2026, so we can expect Stuttgart to place a pretty high price tag on him if they want to sell him at all. West Ham’s interest can only complicate matters by driving up the price tag, but if we can afford him, he could be a smart option to increase depth.
