Chelsea legend John Terry opens up on Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League title prospects
Chelsea legend John Terry knows a thing or two about winning the Premier League title and he has now waded into the discussion of Tottenham Hotspur ending their 62-year-old wait for the championship.
Ange Postecoglou’s men are currently top of the league table and have a good shot at surprising opponents. As long as the momentum keeps up, we could hope for a miracle come next May.
But there is still much football to play and several games to be won and lost. While being excited is well within our rights, it is imperative that the Spurs faithful remain hopeful yet be ready for a bumpy ride. Who knows? May 2024 could be a month to remember.
But then, Terry is not someone to jump onto the Postecoglou bandwagon. Replying to former Spurs ace Jamie O’ Hara, the Chelsea legend has dismissed Tottenham’s chances of going all the way.
O’Hara believes Spurs are in with a real shot to challenge, taking to X (formerly Twitter) via football.london to express his thoughts. Terry was quick to reply to him with an emphatic ‘NO’. Clearly he does not share the same opinion.
NO !

But then, there is little reason for us to expect otherwise. Terry is biased in favour of Chelsea ad has a rather low opinion of us. It is time, however, that he woke up and smelled the coffee.
Spurs have the opportunity to remind him just that when we face the Blues on November 6. Not only will Tottenham be keen to assert their dominance over their arch-rivals but also get back at former boss Mauricio Pochettino who is now in charge at Stamford Bridge.
