Tottenham Hotspur earmark Santiago Gimenez as priority over Dusan Vlahovic
Tottenham Hotspur are yet to replace Harry Kane who left for Bayern Munich in the summer and despite performing admirably so far this season, they’d be wise enough to make that replacement happen soon. This is where Santiago Gimenez comes in, with many UK bookmakers making Spurs favourite to sign him
The 22-year-old Mexican striker who has been making waves in Feyenoord in the Netherlands is said to be the North London club’s priority, even ahead of a more established name like Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus.
This shows the immense faith that the club has in the young Santiago Gimenez. They have earmarked him as the perfect candidate to lead the line for seasons to come. It would be great to have him here at the N17.

According to Caught Offside (h/t the Sun), Gimenez is high on the shopping list for Tottenham. If the North London club were to sign the Mexican, there would be no doubt that he can be a very special player for us.
Gimenez has found the back of net 15 times in 15 games so far for the Dutch club and is putting up some Erling Haaland-esque numbers. Yes, the Premier League is a very different ball game, but the talent is there for everyone to see.
Tottenham might have to shell somewhere around £39million to sign the Mexican striker. That isn’t exorbitant for a talented striker like Gimenez considering how the transfer market seems to functioning these days.

Spurs thought Richarlison could be the player to take over the mantle from Kane and move forward with the baton. That said, the Brazilian player has really struggled and is now set to be out for significant period.
Having already been capped 22 times for his national team, Gimenez is certainly not short on experience. He will however be wanting to showcase his abilities at the highest stage and what better way to do it than in the Premier League.
