Tottenham cool interest in Chelsea centre-back Trevoh Chalobah

Spurs had explored bringing Chalobah to North London on Deadline Day during the summer transfer window. However, at that time, the versatile defender already saw himself sidelined with a hamstring problem and was two weeks away from a potential return. The timing didn’t align, and Spurs opted to reconsider their options.
Unfortunately for Chalobah, his injury woes persisted, and he has faced another setback since Spurs’ initial interest. The talented defender now stands expected to be out until early January, marking almost six months on the sidelines. This extended period of absence raises concerns about his match fitness and readiness to contribute immediately in case he moves clubs over the upcoming transfer window.
