Tottenham Hotspur technical director Jonathan Lange has a great opportunity to sign the young FC Copenhagen talent Roony Bardghji
According to the Danish outlet B.T, Tottenham Hotspur have emerged as a possible suitor for the young talent Roony Bardghji who can play alongside Dejan Kulusevski. Our technical director, Jonathan Lange can do a magical job if he can lure the player to our side.
Bardghji has scored 11 goals for Copenhagen this season in 30 appearances across all competitions. Having played eight times for the Under-21s, he has spent three seasons with the first team and is expected to make his senior Sweden squad debut soon. However, in the summer of 2025, Bardghji’s contract with Copenhagen will come to an end.
Even though injuries have severely impacted us, Ange Postecoglou has performed admirably since joining the team in the summer. Tottenham are apparently trying to add another attacker despite acquiring Brennan Johnson during the summer transfer window, with FC Copenhagen winger Bardghji receiving “strong consideration.”
Ironically enough, it was the Swedish international who got the game-winning goal against Manchester United and decided his team’s fortunes going into the crucial Champions League knockout stages. Who would have thought that Copenhagen could qualify having Bayern Munich and Manchester United in the group stage. However, it was the brilliant qualities of players like Roony that helped the underdogs qualify for this big stage.
In a few months, the competition enters its knockout stage, in which Bardghji’s team will face Manchester City. Perhaps this is another opportunity for him to shine on the biggest stage of Europe. On the other hand, Dejan Kulusevski, who says he enjoys playing as a No. 10, is obliged to fill James Maddison’s current injury absence, which leaves Postecoglou with few alternatives on the wing.
