Tottenham will only pursue a key defensive target for one week as they will look towards Genoa target if a deal isn’t done by then.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham Hotspur wants to have a deal done for Jean-Clair Todibo within the next week, if not the team might look towards Genoa target Radu Dragusin. Both defenders are prime targets for Premier League teams.
Todibo who is currently 24 years of age has shown the makings of a world-class talent. The Frenchman standing tall at 1.90m is a force to be reckoned with. Not many can get the ball past Todibo in a one-on-one and his tall frame makes him excellent at blocking shots.
Radu Dragusin on the other hand is also a phenomenal talent. The 21-year-old might just be one of the best defenders in Italy at the moment. Towering even Todibo the Romanian stands tall at 1.91m and can cover a lot of ground for his team.
It is now or never for Tottenham, if a deal isn’t struck by the end of next week they will move on and look to get a deal done for Dragusin. Honestly, the best-case scenario would be if the Spurs could sign both of these players.
But that is highly unlikely for the time being. Even if the Lilywhites only end up with one of these players it will be viewed as a win. This is the time for the Spurs to spur it up and chase behind these talents.
Imagining any of these players alongside the likes of Cristian Romero is a comforting thought. Tottenham Hotspur just might build one of the strongest backlines of the future this January.
