Former Arsenal defender William Gallas predicts Arsenal to finish above Tottenham in the PL this season

According to the Mirror, William Gallas the former Arsenal defender, has spoken out critically about the club and cast significant doubt on their title chances and states Tottenham might come below them.

After winning the Premier League twice with Chelsea and never finishing better than third with the North London club, Gallas thinks this is a problem Arsenal has encountered before and will be a setback for them.

Gallas said:

“Man City will win it. Then Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham will make up the top four. Aston Villa will finish fifth and Chelsea will finish sixth.”

Spurs have shown glimpses of brilliance during the course of this season, but they still have a long way to go before they can compete with the teams who are now leading their league. It is important to keep in mind that other teams are further ahead in their current situation.

Spurs intend to overcome these obstacles and beat their competitors before the conclusion of the season, despite the fact that they are dealing with injuries and the absence of key players like Son Heung-min and Yves Bissouma owing to their participation in international games.

As a result of the Australian manager’s implementation of an offensive style of play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Lilywhites have seen a transformation this season, and the morale of the entire club has been much improved.

This prognosis would look gloomy in light of the present standings; nevertheless, taking into account the volatility of football, particularly inside the Premier League, it is not entirely out of the question to ponder the prospect of what may happen. Postecoglou may finally be able to put an end to the trophy drought if Spurs can maintain their level of energy for the remainder of the season.

If Ange Postecoglou can continue to impress everyone with his tactics then Spurs can go a long way in the league this season.
