Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign the Bayern Munich defensive midfielder Joshua Kimmich
According to Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign the Bayern Munich talisman Joshua Kimmich in this transfer window after Bayern indicated that they will let go of the German defensive midfielder.
The 28-year-old midfielder can also play as an attacking full-back and he has the versatility to show his talent. He has the adequate ability to become the ideal replacement for Eric Dier’s departure from the club this month.
He has not only continued with his outstanding performances each year but has also proven to be a valuable player for his club and country. This does not mean that he cannot do well in Premier League but it only means that another asset has been signed up by Spurs.
It seems that Ange Postecoglou could benefit from strengthening his team with more quality and depth, and Kimmich might just be the ideal player to provide that versatility.
Having accumulated 82 caps for the international team, the German player may find it impossible to resist the Premier League’s charm. Tottenham would no doubt be a great opportunity for him. At present, it is unclear whether the clubs will arrive at a consensus on the fee.
It is evident that Spurs will have to put in a tremendous amount of effort to convince Kimmich and his representatives that they are the ideal club for him to join after leaving Bavaria.
