Ange Postecoglou made a hilarious Ferrari remark while speaking on Tottenham Hotspur’s January.
Ange Postecoglou had some Ferrari jokes to make when asked about Tottenham Hotspur’s January. The Lilywhites have been fortunate to get their hands on some extraordinary talents last month. The team looks more formidable than ever as they head into the second half of the season.
Moreover, the Greek-Australian coach will be happy with how quickly Timo Werner has settled into the squad. The 27-year-old was expected to have an impact in the absence of Son Heung-Min, he has done exactly that by grabbing two assists in his first two games for the Spurs.
Despite having so many things to be happy about, Postecoglou chose to be sarcastic when asked about his team’s dealings in January.

“Probably the only disappointing one was yesterday I thought there was a really good opportunity for us but the club just didn’t feel it was the right move for us so disappointed with that……..but he ended up at Ferrari so we just have to cop it!”
Postecoglou went on to say that he was trying to spark something for the media as they were having a somewhat flat day. For those of you who did not understand the Ferrari joke made by the Tottenham chief, he is referencing the latest news surrounding Lewis Hamilton.
The British F1 superstar won six of his seven F1 racing titles during his time with the Mercedes AMG team. However, in a shocking move, he has decided to join Ferrari at the end of the season. On a dry day of football news, Hamilton was making the headlines.
Tottenham Hotspur will be stronger than ever during the second half of the season. On top of a highly successful transfer window, some of Postecoglou’s injured players have also recovered. He can now field a much stronger team than we saw during the first half.
