Tottenham goalie Guglielmo Vicario was fantastic against Aston Villa. His performances garnered applause from Emerson Royal and Pedro Porro. This was via Instagram.
It is no secret that Vicario has been a wonderful signing for Spurs. He has been outstanding since the Chelsea farrago where he emerged as the best player. Moreover, Vicario has also been winning laurels and is also Ange Postecoglou’s star for the upcoming season. People cannot stop singing his praise, and with good reason.
Amidst all of this, his impressive performance against Aston Villa cemented his reputation as a player for the history books. So much so, that his teammates even took to Instagram to express their admiration and support for the goalkeeper.
Vicario vs Aston Villa
While he had support from “little monster” Destiny Udogie, this was his first clean sheet in the last 17 Premier League games.
As if that was not enough, Vicario also helped score three points against Aston Villa. After taking three massive points back to North London on Sunday, Vicario was able to replicate if not supersede his performance against Chelsea earlier this season. He saved goals at the feet and was able to impact the game heavily.
