Manchester United eye move for former Tottenham Hotspur ace Harry Kane

Centre-forward has been one of the highly-demanded positions among the big six this season and while some are linked with a big-name move others are linked with high-potential talents who can make it big.

Tottenham Hotspur have a striking need of their own as they haven’t signed a striker since the departure of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich in the summer. The 30-year-old striker can swap Bayern & Germany for a move to England and return to English soil just a year after he was let go by Daniel Levy & Co.

Looking for a number nine led with about all potential options have suitors, it led to a familiar face in English football in Harry Kane who has netted 213 Premier League goals for Spurs. The England international has found the back of the net 33 times in 34 appearances for the German outfit since his move to the Bundesliga.

According to journalist Dean Jones, The Reds from Manchester are looking to do everything they can to bring Harry Kane to Old Trafford if Bayern makes him available.

With the form he has been in complemented by how important he has become for the German side, it is difficult to think they would be considering selling Kane.

The Red Devils signed Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta for a £72 million fee, and they are looking to sign a striker once again in the summer window to complement the Dane while giving him time to develop and nurture his talent.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Dean Jones indicated that whether Harry Kane is to become available then the Red Devils would throw the kitchen sink at it.

“If United are going to sign a striker then Kane is as good as it gets. So we know there’s admiration for him and they do still hold some interest. At the moment, I wouldn’t have huge expectations around it. If Kane is genuinely unsettled, as some reports have suggested, and he wants to return to England, then you have to make sure you’re in the loop as to is it possible to sign him, and Man Utd will do that. But let’s face it, there is very little sign at the moment of Man United signing a player for mega money. So even if his situation does start to open up, it’s still going to be difficult to sign him. They would do everything possible to make it happen if they saw potential, but it’s hugely difficult to do.”

Daniel Levy would be livid if any move for Harry Kane back to the Premier League were to materialize. When Harry was up for sale, the 62-year-old did all he could to ensure any probable move to another Premier League side was prevented. Kane turning out for United would certainly be to Levy’s displeasure.
