Spurs target Raphinha doesn’t want Barca exit
Tottenham Hotspur target Raphinha does not want to leave Barcelona in the upcoming summer transfer window according to a report by Sport.
The Catalonia-based club needs to make at least a couple of noteworthy sales in the summer to comply with Financial Fair Play rules and Brazilian winger Raphinha has been named as a potential sacrificial lamb that the club intends to cash in on in the summer.
Factors contributing to a potential Barcelona exit for Raphinha
Rather than losing top-tier prospects like Gavi or Pedri, complemented by any guaranteed starters viz. Ronald Araujo and Frenkie de Jong – The Clues would rather sell fringe players in the squad and that is where the name of Former Leeds winger takes centre stage.
The 27-year-old has 37 goal contributions in 78 appearances since he moved to Barcelona and hasn’t done much wrong in his two years at the club but the blooming of Lamine Yamal from La Masia raises questions about Raphinha’s place in the squad.
A worthy interest in his services from Premier League & Saudi clubs
Premier League clubs in Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, and Manchester United are ready to take Raphinha back to England although he doesn’t want to part ways with Barcelona just yet. Alongside English top-tier interest, Saudi Arabian clubs have also expressed interest in Raphinha having tabled an offer over €80 million for the Brazilian.
Despite interest from various clubs, he remains intent on continuing his journey with Barcelona.
