Knee concerns sideline Richarlison again for Tottenham Hotspur.

Richarlison takes a sly dig following Brazil’s win at Wembley

Brazil came up against England at Wembley Stadium in a friendly fixture as both countries prepare for what they are expecting to be a big summer. England are preparing to compete in European Championships in Germany under the tutelage of Gareth Southgate, while Brazil are looking to have a big Copa America.

Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison faced the country he plies his trade in, though he had a few friends playing in the English colours. The 26-year-old always promised to get better of them as soon as he heard the ref’s whistle. That is what he and Brazil did; they ensured it to be a tough test and eventually got better of Southgate’s side, with Madrid-bound wonderkid Endrick scoring his first goal for Brazil.

Richarlison took a quick dig at England and the support at Wembley on social media following the game. In a way, it also shows how he has settled in the country and considers it home. He posted a picture of him kicking about at Wembley following Brazil’s win over England with the caption, “Londres é verde e amarelo,” which roughly translates to “London is green and yellow.”

Richarlison will be looking to impress Brazil’s new boss, Dorival Junior, as he looks to seal his spot upfront going into the Copa America.

He has rejuvenated his club form under Ange Postecoglou, as the former Everton star boasts a tally of ten goals and three assists in 23 appearances. Richarlison will look to finish the season on a high as the Spurs look to contend for a top-four finish going into the business end of the season.
