Tottenham will be playing to decide the PL title race as new date for Arsenal fixture comes to light

As reported by The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are set to face each other on the 28th of April. The Gunners are currently on top of the Premier League table and are trying to end their 20-year drought of a PL title.

However, they don’t have much of a lead at the top as Liverpool is second behind Arsenal on goal difference. In third place, we have the defending champs Manchester City with just one point separating them and the Gunners.

With seven games left, the rest of the season is crucial for the top three teams who are still competing for the coveted PL title. However, the Lilywhites will have a big say in the upcoming race.

First, Tottenham Hotspur will be taking on Arsenal, and back-to-back games against Chelsea and Liverpool will follow. Finally, the team will be taking on Man City on May 15, 2024. Clearly, Ange Postecoglou’s men have a chance to decide the PL title race this season.

While Postecoglou himself isn’t aiming for the top spot, he has mentioned that he doesn’t intend to make it easy for his rivals. Depending on which games Tottenham lose or win over the coming weeks either team could grab the top spot in the league.

Moreover, the game against Arsenal will come with a big advantage for Postecoglou’s men who will be playing after a 15-day break.

If Postecoglou wins all three games against the top three he will but them back to square one.
