Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou in a recent interview spoke about Pape Matar Sarr and the caliber he has to be a top player.
The Australian manager has done a brilliant job since taking charge of Tottenham Hotspur. He took charge of the club in the summer and has ensured that the club has progressed beyond years during his stay at the club. The 58-year-old has taken the team from a lagging big club to one of the most exciting clubs in Europe.
Additionally, during his time at the club, he was without a sporting director, and he lost Harry Kane just into pre-season. However, the club is now well-placed and is looking better with each passing day.
Though he revamped the roster and brought in some top players to his disposal, Ange Postecoglou has also ensured he brings the best out of the youngsters in Spurs books.
One of those is Pape Matar Sarr, who was having a difficult time last season and was on the fringes. He has been a key player in Tottenham’s pursuit of the top four this season.
To date, the 21-year-old has made 42 appearances for the Lilywhites, including 27 Premier League outings this season, of which he started twenty-two from the get-go. As long as he continues to impress, the youngster is in line to make several more appearances for the club.
