Tottenham are one of three teams who can decide the fate of Arsenal this season.

Tottenham currently hold the key to the fate of Arsenal this season. Mikel Arteta’s side is fighting hard to regain their lead in the Premier League title. Moreover, this has been a tough week for the Gunners.

First, they dropped three points against Aston Villa and lost their lead in the Premier League race. Shortly after that, they were knocked out of the Champions League at the hands of Harry Kane and Bayern Munich.

Now Mikel Arteta and his men face the prospect of not winning any silverware this season. However, they will still be fighting for the Premier League title, but Tottenham could end their hopes of winning the league.

While on Sky Sports, Paul Merson said that Tottenham Hotspur are one of three teams who currently have the power to decide Arsenal’s fate this season. Mikel Arteta needs three straight wins to force Pep Guardiola and his Man City side into a tough situation.

However, Ange Postecoglou can put a stop to that. The Lilywhites will take on Arsenal next Saturday and if they are able to get the three points Arteta’s hopes of winning the Premier League title might as well be over.

The Spurs would also be able to catch up to Aston Villa in fourth place who have 63 points. If both teams are perfect it will come down to GD to decide the fourth place in the Premier League this season.
