From Eredivisie to Premier League? Santiago Giménez goal spree alerts Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign Mexican striker Santiago Giménez, and the rumors for his acquisitions intensify as the 23-year-old was spotted at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, via. Football.London.

The Lilywhites are expected to be in the transfer market for a new center-forward in the upcoming summer window as Daniel Levy & Co. intends to build on the progress the club has made under Ange Postecoglou in his short time at N17. Moreover, the North Londoners are yet to replace Harry Kane following his departure last summer, as the 30-year-old sought pastures in Germany with Bayern Munich.

Signing a striker like Giménez will be a priority for Spurs, who are hoping his potential can fill the void left by Harry Kane’s departure. The 23-year-old has caught the attention of the officials at White Hart Lane, who have already made approaches to sign him and are following his development with growing anticipation, per Calciomercato.it

Santiago Giménez has made a massive impact in the Eredivisie with Feyenoord since his move to the Dutch side from Cruz Azul in 2022. The Adidas athlete has scored 21 goals and laid five assists in 29 league appearances for Feyenoord this season, which has led to an abundance of elite clubs chasing his services. Alongside Tottenham, their North London neighbors, Arsenal are also said to be interested in signing the 23-year-old ace.

Santiago Giménez was present at White Hart Lane this Sunday as Gimenez and his fiancée uploaded multiple images from a hotel in London, and the pair took part in a gym session before heading to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the NLD. He went on to take pictures in front of the stadium and upload an Instagram story of Son Heung-min’s penalty, as he was seen following the game from an executive box just behind the press seating in the west stand.

Alongside Santiago Giménez, there was another F player watching the game in the stadium, Lutsharel Geertruida, following the proceedings from the opposite end.
